A Strong R&D Team
Since the establishment, Maxwell determines to be dedicated to independent innovation, takes
the domestication of core equipment as its own responsibility, regards key technological and
scientific research personnel as the cornerstone of business development,
and has cultivated and solidified an industry-leading innovation team. The team is based on
young and middle-aged talents, which comprises more than 1552 R&D personnel with rich
experience in mechanical engineering design, semiconductor
technology, material physics, optoelectronic technology, electrical engineering and
automation, including a cluster of senior doctors and masters, senior engineers, etc.
The R&D team of Maxwell consists of the PECVD vacuum equipment R&D unit, PVD vacuum equipment R&D unit, screen printing equipment R&D unit, laser equipment R&D unit and semiconductor thin-film process technology R&D unit, etc., and has undertaken a number of national-level and provincial-level science and technology projects.

Set Up Six Major Laboratory Platforms
HJT Solar Cell Laboratory, Perovskite Tandem Solar Cell Laboratory, High-Efficiency Solar Module Laboratory, Advanced Packaging Laboratory, Advanced Display Laboratory, Analytical Test Center.
The total area of the laboratories is about 50,000 square meters, with more than 100 sets of experimental and testing equipment.

HJT Solar Cell LaboratoryWith a complete pilot line for HJT high-efficiency solar cells, the laboratory can quickly carry out the independent design and development of PECVD, PVD and other equipment, the demonstration and optimization of core components, and the process upgrade of cell technology and complete line process.

Perovskite Tandem Solar Cell LaboratoryThe laboratory can independently complete the research and development of industrialization technologies and equipment for perovskite/"silicon" heterojunction tandem solar cells, as well as develop whole-line process and equipment solutions, accelerating the industrialization of tandem solar cells in the photovoltaic industry.

High-Efficiency Solar Module LaboratoryThe laboratory can independently complete the manufacturing and electrical performance testing of HJT high-efficiency modules, which is of great significance for the reliability test of PV modules and the process optimization of HJT modules.

Advanced Packaging LaboratoryFocusing on semiconductor pan-cutting full process, 2.5D/3D advanced packaging, the laboratory not only can develop semiconductor wafer laser grinding & dicing saw, but also can develop core components such as spindle, ultra-precision lifting platform and main consumables such as grinding wheel and cutter wheel through independent R&D.

Advanced Display LaboratoryThe laboratory can independently develop Mini LED turnkey process solution and core equipment &processes for Micro LED, accelerating technological advancement and industrial application in the new display sector.

Analytical Test CenterThe center can independently test and analyze the performance of amorphous silicon films, TCO films and other advanced films and raw materials for the R&D of high-efficiency cell equipment technologies and the optimization of the complete line production processes.
